For the more adventurous, hiking the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast provides a more immersive experience, although it’s a challenging 17-kilometer trek best suited for seasoned hikers.

A drive through this natural wonder takes you to a series of scenic overlooks, each offering a unique perspective of the canyon’s striking beauty. I saw this during a helicopter tour and it was absolutely breathtaking! If you’re feeling adventurous, there are hiking trails that descend into the canyon, revealing hidden waterfalls and that provide opportunities to explore the land up close. Don’t miss the breathtaking sight from the Waimea Canyon Lookout, where the panorama of deep valleys and lush green cliffs are a photographer’s dream.
