This partially-paved, mostly-flat, 4-kilometer trail is for pretty much everyone. A popular area for walking, or running if you are so inclined, this is usually a good spot for both hiking and for people watching. There could be parts of the trail that are wet and slippery from either rain, or waves crashing into the nearby rocks, but the views are spectacular. Running from Black Rock to Canoe Beach, the world-famous Ka’anapali Beach offers more than fine white sand and clear water. The beach itself is its own destination. Watch the thrilling and athletic cliff jumping at Black Rock. Activities range from sunbathing to swimming in the inviting crystal water to shopping and so much more. There is also a nice almost five-kilometer long paved walkway that you can take to different sections of the beach.

The winter waves here can reach an exhilarating 30 feet high, which is great for advanced surfers, but should not be attempted by beginners. There are picnic tables and an observation deck where you can bring a snack and watch the action. The beach also features a protected area for sea turtles, where they can rest.
