The older kids will love the rock climbing walls, video game stations, sports courts, go-karts, laser tag and much more aboard Royal Caribbean and Disney ships. Cruise lines understand that not all of Alaska’s best sights lie along the coast. Denali National Park and the city of Fairbanks are just a few of the things to explore inland. On a cruise tour, you’ll sail a one-way Alaska cruise, so your cruise starts or ends in Alaska and the rest is up to you. Your tour could include a ride on the scenic Alaska Railroad, stay in a number of hotels or lodges, a bus ride through nature or any number of other activities. Some activities are included in the cost of your tour and others can be booked like shore excursions depending on your interest and budget.

Cruise Tours
If you want to cruise Alaska but also see some of the interior and enjoy a stay in a lodge or hotel, a cruise tour is the way to go. Holland America Line and Princess Cruises have especially long histories in the region. Both have fantastic itineraries that take passengers on a well-informed journey of land and sea. Princess even owns a couple of its own lodges and a rail service for you to enjoy while on land. - Opens a dialog
