Cabo San Lucas, where the sea, sun, and desert join casts an air of mystery and romance over all who visit. Cabo was once a tranquil fishing village and, in times long ago, a hangout for pirates. Although no longer the fishing village of old, and not many of the old pirates are seen around town anymore, the magic of Cabo remains. Cabo is still small and charming by any standards, with a population of under 30,000. We do have 4 stop lights now. And with the number of activities available to the visitor, you could easily imagine you are in a giant amusement park. Cabo has come of age. Located at the southernmost tip of the magnificent Baja peninsula, Cabo has been blessed with what many describe as the perfect climate. The average year-round temperature is 78 degrees, it is a little cooler in the winter and a bit warmer in the summer. For years Cabo was the remote playground reserved solely for private yacht owners. They flocked here to be near "Marlin Alley", as the waters around Cabo have often been described. The name is well deserved, as Cabo San Lucas is the undisputed billfish capital of the world. But Cabo is far from remote these days, and the attraction of this magical spot is no longer limited to marlin fishing. Cabo can be, many different things to people. Cabo San Lucas has become known as a perfect vacation spot for the entire family. Cabo can be as quiet, romantic, and relaxing as any secret hideaway. It can also be as lively as anyone can imagine. If your wish is to enjoy a quiet candlelight dinner, "muy romantico", beside the shimmering sea for just the two of you, we have some of the most romantic dining spots on the face of the earth. If golf, water sports, boating, fishing, ATVs, horseback riding, and numerous other activities are what you seek, they're all here, waiting for you. If "party till you drop" is the mood of the evening, Cabo has got it for you, big time!

Overview
Loreto is considered the most ancient human settling in the Peninsula of Baja California and is located 359 km to the north of La Paz by the federal Highway1 in the State of Baja California Sur, Mexico.Loreto is located in the wonderful landscape where the La Giganta mountains range, the desert, and the Sea of Cortes meet with the islands of Coronado, del Carmen, and Danzante. Loreto is the ideal place for experts and amateurs who like an adventure in intimate contact with nature, such as camping on the nearby islands, and aquatic sports which of course include sport fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, yachting, crossings of the Sea of Cortez, mountain bung in the rugged peaks of the Sierra de la Giganta, observations of the cave paintings and much more.

Port of Call Guaymas

Overview
Guaymas is located about 250 miles south of the United States border on the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California) and is accessible by car (an 8-9 hour drive) or by air (a direct 1-hour flight.) The city is home to more than 200,000 people. Guaymas, in addition to its active seaport, is known for its water recreation opportunities. A resort area, San Carlos, has been developed about 15 kilometers northwest of Guaymas and attracts visitors to its beaches, marinas, and hotels.

Port of Call Topolobampo

Overview
Topolobampo is a port on the Gulf of California in northwestern Sinaloa, Mexico. It is the fourth-largest town in the municipality of Ahome, reporting a 2010 census population of 6,361 inhabitants.The port connects the northern Mexican states through the Chihuahua-Pacific Railroad, which has a terminus in nearby Los Mochis. It is the eastern port for the daily car ferry connecting to La Paz in Baja California Sur. Topolobampo is also the beginning of the international trade corridor, "La Entrada al Pacifico", that ends near the Midland-Odessa, Texas area.

Mazatlán spreads for 15 sun-splashed miles along a thumb of land that extends southward into the Pacific just below the Tropic of Cancer. Mazatlán thus marks the beginning of the Mexican tropics: a land full of palm trees, perpetual summer, and a refuge from winter cold for growing numbers of international vacationers. Mazatlán’s beauty is renowned. Its coast sprinkled with beckoning islands and miles of golden beaches and blue lagoons, it aptly deserves its title as “Pearl of the Pacific”.Mazatlan meaning "land of the deer" in the ancient Nahuatl language offers 10 miles of inviting sandy beaches. It's no wonder Mazatlan plays host to more than one million visitors per year. The vacationers come and frolic on the beach beside their “Golden Zone” hotels, while in the old town at the tip of the peninsula, life goes on in the old-Mexico style: in the markets, the churches, and the shady plazas scattered throughout the traditional neighborhoods.

Puerto Vallarta is a resort town on Mexico’s Pacific coast, in Jalisco state. It is known for its beaches, water sports, and nightlife scene. El Malecón is a beachside promenade with contemporary sculptures, as well as bars, lounges, es and nightclubs.

Overview
Hey, there's more to this town than it just being the finish line for the annual Newport-Ensenada Race! The City of Ensenada has completed a total renovation of Primera, the main street downtown. Enjoy a stroll down the cobblestone sidewalk complete with outdoor cafes, interesting shops, strolling musicians, and street vendors. The Malecon (harbor boardwalk) renovation was completed last year and provides a beautifully landscaped walk along the harbor front to the Ventana Del Mar Plaza with its huge Mexican flag. From there, you can look across the Rio at the new small craft harbor nestled in the middle of the new cruise ship docks. It will be interesting to watch the progress of this new endeavor. The story is that to expand the cargo port on the north side of the harbor, the developers had to relocate the passenger ships' dock and provide some type of recreational asset for the city. It looks to be a good solution. Ensenada is also a swell place to take possession of your new boat (more on that later), get a new bottom job for your old boat, or set as your destination for an extended coastal cruise, a fun weekend road trip, or the start of some long-distance cruising! The people of Ensenada are trying hard to improve their city, both for tourists, a big part of their income, and for themselves and their families. We have seen good improvements, and yet some loss of the "Mexico-ness" in some of the tourist areas. We have met a lot of the residents and business people and want to thank them for their hospitality. As visitors, we must live up to the Bienvenidos and the Mi Casa es Su Casa that have been extended to us.
